デザインといいスペックといい、すごいチープな感じですね。
売却完了まで開発リソースを遊ばせておくのももったいないから、一機種大赤字にならない程度の機種を開発させた、みたいな感じですかね。

それに対して日本国内市場向けのかつての携帯端末の、高機能多機能高性能化競争を指してガラパゴス的進化だ、こんな物は海外では高すぎて売れないと揶揄したのが「ガラパゴス携帯」の本来の意味なのだけどね。

ガラパゴス携帯は高いから海外では売れないってわけではない。高いけど搭載されている機能が国内向けで海外では高いだけのゴミだから売れない。
まあ本来は国内に最適化された独自進化端末って意味だな。
#国内向けと海外向けにそれぞれ売れる端末を用意できれば日本国内がガラパゴスでも問題はないのだが。
